Excellence is one of the core values of the Juan Sumulong Memorial Junior College.
We believe that quality instruction molds an individual to be outstanding in his or her chosen field of endeavor.
But, excellence does not happen overnight. Thus, the Greek philosopher and polymath, Aristotle, said that "excellence is the result of high intention, sincere effort and intelligent execution." These words mean that one must be focused, driven and intentional to be excellent. On September 9, 2023, Saturday, the JSMJC Green Spartans and the Special Program for the Arts held their tryout and screening for potential athletes and performers and a number of students participated in this event. These students expressed their willingness to be trained and to work hard in order to nurture and perfect their God-given talents.
To the parents, who allowed their children to come and participate, our sincere thanks and gratitude.
To all our teachers and trainers, led by our Sports and SPA coordinators, Mr. David O. Bautista and Ms. Paulina D. Nacional, who are more than willing to share with our students their skills and specialization, our commendation.
